Town of Avon Information:

Avon Indiana is located West of Indy approximately 15 miles from Downtown Indianapolis.  Avon is a new Town that burst onto the scene in 1995 when it was incorporated.

Avon Schools ranks among the highest in Sports programs.  Their girls Volley team won 2nd in State, Boys golf ranks among the top in the State.  The Boys Golf Team in 2009 won their First State Championship.
Girls Volley Ball has been ranked in the top 5 in the last few years.  
Avon’s Football is a 5 A School.   Football in Avon is a top Ranking Program in the State. The Avon Orioles have always been Competitive and continue to compete for the top spot in their Conference.

Prestwick Golf Club in Avon is a 240 Acre 18 hole Golf Course.   The Course is challenging and has a reasonable membership fee of less than $300 per month.  The Club is friendly and has many member events though out the year.    
A new exciting addition to Avon is the huge YMCA facilities that offer many membership amenities including swimming, exercise, walking trails and many other special programs including Physical Therapy.  The Avon YMCA partnered with Hendricks Regional Health to bring a integrated YMCA and Hospital Facility.  It’s all about health and wellness and something to offer everyone.
